DESCRIPTION:Bob Burgess is the Director of Lending for the Southeast Kentucky Economic Development Corp.\, a\n\n			nonprofit lender based in Somerset\, Ky.\, serving 45 counties across Southern and Eastern Kentucky\,\n\n			including Floyd County.\n\n			Bob is responsible for managing a $19 million loan portfolio and overseeing and distributing grant and\n\n			loan funds within the Community Development Financial Institution.\n\n			He also markets SKED to businesses\, bankers\, and other organizations\, with the goal of helping them\n\n			acquire the financing and counseling they need to thrive and bolster their local economies.\n\n			He brings 17 years of banking experience to the team and has owned and managed several small\n\n			businesses. He is a graduate of Clarkson University\, located in upstate New York. Bob has called\n\n			Somerset\, Ky.\, home for nearly 30 years. He and his wife\, Jennifer\, have raised their four children there.\n		\n		\n			 \n			 \n		\n	\n\nSpeakers from SKED will educate us on valuable resources in business financing and technical assistance.
